Supervise daily packaging operations, lead a team, and ensure quality and safety standards.
- •The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily packaging operations, ensuring products are packaged safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- •This role involves leading a team of line operators and material handlers to improve productivity, enforce safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- •Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and coach line operators, technicians, and packaging personnel.
- •Manage daily line assignments, shift schedules, and workload distribution to meet production goals.
- •Oversee the execution of daily packaging schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- •Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company safety standards.
- •Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 3 to 5+ years of experience in packaging or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- •Hands-on knowledge of automated packaging machinery (e.g., fillers, labelers, cappers, case packers, palletizers, conveyors).
- •Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo).
