About the role
TL;DR
Manage complex and large loss claims, safeguarding the AirCover platform and its community.
- •The AirCover team is responsible for managing Airbnb's business operations related to host and guest protection.
- •This role will focus on identifying, investigating, and managing complex and large loss claims to safeguard the integrity of the AirCover platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage complex and large loss claims, developing resolution plans and driving carriers/TPAs to resolve them.
- •Partner with legal, GCM, Trust, brokers, insurers, and outside counsel on complex claims resolution.
- •Accountable for performance and results of insurance carriers and partners worldwide.
- •Mentor L6 and L7 Host Damage Protection and Host Liability Protection Specialists.
- •Requirements 10+ years of Insurance Claims Coverage and Litigation experience with an emphasis on liability and property.
- •Strong knowledge of complex claim resolution techniques and legal aspects.
- •Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and seniority levels.
- •BA/BS degree in business or technical field preferred.
