About the role
TL;DR
Lead avionics and flight software development from concept to flight.
- •As Senior Team Lead, Avionics & Flight Software, you will own the flight computer stack
- •from concept to flight.
- •You will define the architecture, lead a cross-disciplinary team, and prove the design on real hardware in flight campaigns.
- •Key Responsibilities Build, lead and grow a cross-disciplinary team across electronics, embedded software and GNC.
- •Drive architecture and implementation of flight controller electronics, sensor integration, and board bring-up.
- •Own the full embedded software chain
- •drivers, BSP, firmware and release cycle.
- •Lead control loops, sensor fusion and navigation for autonomous flight.
- •Own integration, prototyping, flight test support and qualification evidence.
- •Requirements 5+ years in embedded systems, avionics or flight software engineering within defense, aerospace or robotics, including experience leading or coordinating engineers.
- •MSc in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Aerospace, Robotics or a closely related field.
- •At least one product taken from concept to production
- •flight controller, autopilot or comparable embedded control system.
- •Owner and generalist, taking the whole stack
- •electronics, firmware and GNC.
- •Entrepreneurial, hands-on and comfortable a long way from headquarters.
