About the role
TL;DR
Lead finance for South America, building the function from scratch.
- •South America is a key growth area for Halter, and this role is responsible for all finance operations in the region.
- •Based in Buenos Aires, you will be the sole finance leader, overseeing everything from tax and statutory audits to FP&A, revenue planning, and the finance strategy for scaling Halter in the market.
- •Reporting to the VP of FP&A, you will have significant autonomy in shaping the region's finance function.
- •Key Responsibilities Oversee the complete South America finance function, from ledger to strategy.
- •Manage tax and statutory compliance, local audits, and reporting.
- •Lead regional FP&A, including planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
- •Drive revenue planning in partnership with sales and Revenue Operations.
- •Requirements Senior finance leadership experience, covering both controllership and FP&A.
- •Strong knowledge of Argentine and South American tax, audit, and regulatory environments.
- •Fluency in Spanish and English.
- •Comfort with ambiguity and a builder's instinct.
