About the role
TL;DR
Manage day-to-day contract work, including negotiations and database maintenance.
- •Griffin is a regulated UK bank powering fintech accounts and payments.
- •This role is for a Commercial Paralegal to manage day-to-day contract work, including negotiations and maintaining contract databases, supporting the Legal Counsel.
- •Key Responsibilities Reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts (customer, supplier, NDAs, etc.).
- •Providing clear, commercially-minded advice on contracts and legal risks.
- •Managing own caseload from instruction to completion.
- •Partnering with business teams for contractual and legal queries.
- •Owning and maintaining the contract and NDA database.
- •Requirements Solid experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
- •In-house experience or clear understanding of internal legal advising.
- •Confidence to work with senior stakeholders and in negotiations.
- •Comfort switching between different types of work.
- •Interest in banking or SaaS.
