- •GPTZero is seeking a software engineer to join their team and work on groundbreaking investigations at the intersection of AI and investigative journalism.
- •You will build and run the research engine used to uncover AI-generated content and undisclosed hallucinations on the web.
- •Key Responsibilities Use AI detection and hallucination detection models to find AI "slop" online.
- •Synthesize data into written prose, visualizations, and interactive user experiences.
- •Build search engine query generators and targeted crawlers for web content.
- •Craft machine learning ranking and classification systems to detect AI fabrications.
- •Create robust, large-scale data processing pipelines.
- •Requirements Ability to tell creative and compelling stories using data. 2+ years of experience in Python for data pipelines. 1+ year of experience in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
- •Experience with web scraping, search at scale, and LLM tools.
- •Familiarity with basic cloud infrastructure like AWS.
