TL;DR
Lead a team of technicians in building advanced hardware and prototypes for new product development.
- •As Formlabs continues to develop new technology, we are looking for a motivated individual to lead a team of technicians in building advanced hardware.
- •You will work directly with the engineering team to invent, develop, and advance our core hardware line of products, spanning all engineering disciplines.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead a collaborative team of technicians to advance new product development programs.
- •Work with program leads to understand priorities and schedule requirements.
- •Provide technical guidance, evaluation, and mentorship to team members.
- •Hire new talent to match resources to company workloads.
- •Own and manage the internal Machine Shop for efficient product development.
- •Requirements Experience managing a technical team.
- •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- •Strong time management skills.
- •Hands-on experience in fabrication, electrical work, and prototype assembly.
- •Experience developing prototypes from concept to reality.
- •Familiarity with mechanical design, mechatronics, and CAD modeling.
