About the role
TL;DR
Lead architectural design for large-scale data center projects.
- •Lead the design, development, and execution of 10s to 100s of GWs of data centers this decade.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the architectural scope across Fluidstack's data center portfolio.
- •Lead architectural design development for new builds and retrofits.
- •Work alongside mechanical, electrical, structural, and controls engineers.
- •Manage external AEC vendors and serve as the primary escalation point.
- •Drive continuous improvement across code compliance, space utilization, and material flow.
- •Requirements Experience leading architectural design for data centers or complex facilities.
- •Command of building codes, fire and life safety, and 3D design.
- •Ability to coordinate across MEP, structural, and controls engineers.
- •Handle multi-jurisdiction code localization across a portfolio.
- •Generate ideas, sell them to senior stakeholders, and drive them through construction.
