About the role
TL;DR
Provide ABA therapy to children with autism, engaging them through play and data collection.
- •SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism in the Ontario area.
- •This role involves working 1:1 with children to help them meet their goals through engaging activities.
- •Key Responsibilities Work 1:1 with children in a clinic or in-home setting, actively playing and engaging them.
- •Use creative methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills.
- •Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs.
- •Build trust with parents through training and consistent communication.
- •Requirements Previous experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required.
- •Reliable transportation to travel to the clinic and/or client homes in the Ontario area.
- •Commitment to obtaining RBT Certification within 90 days of hire.
- •Comfortable working inside client homes and supporting clinic-based needs.
