- •As a Manager of Software Engineering at Filevine, you will lead a team of talented engineers responsible for building and maintaining our core products.
- •You’ll play a critical role in shaping technical direction, ensuring high-quality delivery, and fostering an environment where engineers can thrive.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers (typically 6–12 direct reports).
- •Drive execution of projects from planning through delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and reliability.
- •Collaborate with Product Management and Design to refine requirements and translate them into technical plans.
- •Champion engineering excellence, scalability, and security across the codebase.
- •Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and psychological safety.
- •Requirements 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a formal leadership/management role.
- •Ability to contribute with hands-on coding up to 50% of the time.
- •Strong technical background in modern web application development (experience with C#, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, AngularJS, Svelte, SQL Server, Redis, ElasticSearch, etc.).
- •Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- •Demonstrated success in scaling teams, mentoring engineers, and delivering complex projects.
