About the role
TL;DR
Guardian of data performance, availability, and scalability through automation and AI.
- •As a Senior DBRE, you are the guardian of our data’s performance, availability, and scalability.
- •You will be automating the entire lifecycle of our data platform and exploring AI-driven automation for operations.
- •Key Responsibilities Proactively explore and implement AI tools, LLM integrations, and MCP to reduce routine database toil and optimize performance.
- •Support the data warehouse ecosystem by optimizing Snowflake performance.
- •Own the deep-level optimization of MSSQL and PostgreSQL at the server, database, and query levels.
- •Automate data infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- •Manage and optimize deployment pipelines using GitLab and Octopus Deploy.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience maintaining and optimizing high-traffic production databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- •Professional experience with Terraform, AWS, GitLab, and Octopus Deploy.
- •Expert-level knowledge of Docker and production experience running stateful applications within Kubernetes.
- •Expert-level Python and PowerShell skills.
