About the role
TL;DR
Lead end-to-end product design for complex audit workflows, partnering with Product and Engineering.
- •We’re hiring a Staff Product Designer to join the Fieldguide team.
- •You’ll own complex, ambiguous problem spaces end-to-end, partner deeply with Product and Engineering, and help shape the design direction of a core Fieldguide product.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design for complex, ambiguous audit workflows, from problem definition through shipped solutions Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape strategy, influence roadmaps, and deliver high-quality, scalable implementations Drive design execution with minimal direction, operating effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment Translate customer needs, research insights, and business goals into clear user journeys, interaction models, and polished UI Requirements You operate as a strategic IC
- •you don't just solve problems, you decide which problems matter You think several steps ahead, anticipating how decisions in one area ripple across others You're comfortable influencing senior PM and Engineering leaders, not just your immediate collaborators Experience shaping how AI-assisted workflows get designed at a systemic level, not just within a single flow
