About the role
TL;DR
Data Engineer to evolve data infrastructure and optimize pipelines on GCP.
- •Fastly's Analytics team is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to the evolution of their data infrastructure.
- •You will optimize pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), scale data ingestion, and ensure performance and reliability.
- •Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and fulfill data analytics needs.
- •Design and build data products, including pipelines and data models.
- •Promote a self-service data culture by building user-friendly analytics products.
- •Communicate project progress, risks, and completion to stakeholders.
- •Requirements 3-5 years of hands-on experience in BI or Analytics teams.
- •Experience with cloud data warehouse technologies (BigQuery is a plus).
- •Hands-on experience in building and managing data transformations (dbt experience is a plus).
- •SQL power user, capable of complex, efficient, and logical SQL.
