TL;DR
Manage infrastructure vendor relationships and performance for a generative AI company.
- •fal is building the generative media ecosystem for AI products, providing the infrastructure, tools, and model access needed for teams to scale.
- •This role focuses on managing the operational and commercial performance of the hyperscalers and GPU infrastructure providers powering fal's compute fleet.
- •Key Responsibilities Own post-signature relationships with GPU infrastructure providers.
- •Translate contractual commitments into measurable SLAs and operating requirements.
- •Track vendor performance and lead escalations when commitments are missed.
- •Pursue service credits and remedies for performance issues.
- •Run vendor governance, including operating reviews and performance reporting.
- •Requirements 5+ years in infrastructure vendor management or a related function.
- •Direct experience managing commercial relationships with hyperscalers, neoclouds, or GPU providers.
- •Experience operationalizing complex infrastructure agreements with SLAs and service credits.
- •Strong analytical and operational skills for performance reporting and invoice reconciliation.
- •Technical fluency to understand the operational impact of vendor failures.
