About the role
TL;DR
Build and scale backend services for Made Card and homeowner platform.
- •We're looking for a Backend Engineer to help build and scale the services that power the Made Card and homeowner platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Feature Development: Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
- •Database & Systems: Design, implement, and optimize data models across Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- •Infrastructure: Contribute to deployments and scaling using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
- •Collaboration: Partner with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features.
- •Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while participating in code reviews.
- •Requirements 3-5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- •Proficiency in Python and experience building distributed web applications.
- •Familiarity with Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis for data modeling and optimization.
- •Experience designing and consuming RESTful services.
- •Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS infrastructure.
