About the role
TL;DR
Develop and deploy PLC code for AI-enabled robotic automation systems.
- •Osaro is seeking a Controls Engineer with PLC Programming expertise to join their team.
- •You will be instrumental in developing and deploying AI-enabled robot cells for material handling and logistics applications.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and deploy robust PLC code for ML-enabled robotic automation systems.
- •Integrate PLCs with control devices and proprietary machine-learning software.
- •Design, develop, and deploy intuitive Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- •Program and validate safety logic and safety PLCs to meet industrial safety standards.
- •Debug and characterize PLC programs for complex electromechanical systems.
- •Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- •Deep knowledge of major PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, PLCNext, Siemens, Beckhoff).
- •Software/Scripting skills (Python, C++).
- •Familiarity with motion control components.
- •Ability to work from the San Francisco office 4-5 days a week.
