About the role
TL;DR
Build and showcase AI-powered applications using Exa's API to empower other developers.
- •This is an engineer's job with an audience.
- •You'll spend your time building reference apps, demos, and integrations that make developers understand Exa's value proposition quickly.
- •You will then showcase these creations through talks, streams, and workshops.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain a library of working code, including reference agents and integration examples.
- •Represent Exa at conferences, meetups, workshops, and streams, delivering technical talks and workshops.
- •Engage with the developer community by answering questions and unblocking users.
- •Build and maintain integrations with developer frameworks and tools.
- •Provide specific developer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
- •Requirements 3+ years as a software engineer, developer advocate, or a mix, with a portfolio of shipped code.
- •Real fluency in the AI stack, with experience building with LLMs, agents, and retrieval.
- •Demonstrated public artifacts such as repos, talks, streams, or side projects.
- •Strong live communication skills to teach technical concepts effectively.
- •Genuine enthusiasm for helping other developers and comfort working in public.
