TL;DR

- •Etched is building hardware for frontier intelligence, focusing on inference workloads.
- •We are seeking an experienced ECAD Librarian to manage and maintain our schematic symbol and PCB footprint libraries.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and organize the ECAD library of Allegro schematic symbols and PCB footprints.
- •Create and validate complex schematic symbols and PCB footprints in Allegro, ensuring compliance with IPC standards.
- •Build and maintain complete component metadata, including part numbering and attributes.
- •Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) compliance.
- •Partner with electrical engineers and layout designers to resolve library issues.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in ECAD library management, including Allegro schematic symbols and PCB footprints.
- •Expertise in Allegro PCB Editor and related tools.
- •Strong understanding of IPC standards and JEDEC package standards.
- •Experience working with manufacturing teams to adapt designs for manufacturability.
- •Experience with version control systems for ECAD libraries (e.g., Git).
