TL;DR
Assemble, integrate, and test satellites in a cleanroom environment.
- •The AIT Technician builds ICEYE's satellites by performing physical assembly, integration, and test operations.
- •You will work in a cleanroom environment, taking responsibility for the quality and traceability of your work, focusing on mechanical, thermal, and harness integration.
- •Key Responsibilities Assemble and install satellite structures, equipment, and thermal hardware according to procedures and drawings.
- •Route, install, and electrically verify flight harnesses, including crimping and soldering.
- •Prepare satellite configurations for testing and support environmental and launch campaigns.
- •Maintain meticulous records of all operations in real-time using MES and Jira.
- •Adhere to cleanroom, safety, and 6S protocols.
- •Requirements Vocational or technical qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent hands-on training. 2+ years of hands-on experience in assembly, integration, or testing of complex electromechanical hardware.
- •Practical skill in precision mechanical assembly, thermal hardware installation, and harness work (crimping, soldering).
- •Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and procedures.
- •Experience with electrical verification, cleanroom protocols, and documenting non-conformances.
