About the role
TL;DR
Work on Elwood's Portfolio Management System as a PMS Engineer.
- •Join Elwood as a PMS Engineer to work on our Portfolio Management System, a core component of our Trading Platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and enhance the Portfolio Management System with Golang.
- •Work with the Engineering team to ensure consistency across features.
- •Take ownership of new feature development from concept to deployment.
- •Monitor and support production systems for stability and performance.
- •Leverage AI tools to assist in code quality and output.
- •Requirements Financial Services experience, particularly with portfolio or order management systems.
- •Experience with Golang or other strongly typed languages.
- •Proficiency in building REST, WebSockets, and FIX-based APIs.
- •Familiarity with messaging systems like NATS or Kafka.
- •Experience deploying software on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- •Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- •Database development experience using PostgreSQL or similar.
- •Excellent object-oriented or functional programming expertise.
- •A proven ability to own outcomes and work effectively with others.
- •Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in a technical discipline.
- •Experience using AI assistants to augment development capabilities.
