About the role
TL;DR
Build and scale infrastructure for processing billions of financial records.
- •We need to scale our infrastructure 10x to handle peak ingestion of 2,500 records per second across MongoDB, Kafka, Bull, Redis, and Snowflake.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and build our testing harness from the ground up Architect the system, choose the tools, and own the outcome Design the automation layer across unit, integration, and E2E Own CI/CD quality gates in GitHub Actions Build performance and load testing Requirements 5+ years of engineering experience with increasing ownership of infrastructure, CI/CD, or platform work Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills Experience with performance testing tools (k6, Artillery, Locust) You understand how distributed systems fail You've worked in fintech, banking, or a similarly regulated environment
