TL;DR

- •Instacart's Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team is building an automated, engineering-grade risk program.
- •This role involves writing production-level code, building signal ingestion pipelines, and developing probabilistic risk models to quantify security posture.
- •Key Responsibilities Build automated signal ingestion pipelines for real-time data from security tooling.
- •Develop probabilistic risk models to quantify security exposure and breach likelihood.
- •Identify and prioritize high-leverage remediation paths across the attack surface.
- •Build dashboards and data-driven insights for risk visibility.
- •Support risk quantification efforts in financial terms.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in data engineering with production-level Python and SQL. 3+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning or probabilistic models.
- •Experience building data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
- •Experience with data modeling for classification, normalization, and risk signal development.
- •Experience developing metrics that inform security and business decisions.
