About the role
TL;DR
Lead a team building petabyte-scale data infrastructure for blockchain transaction analysis.
- •TRM Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Data Platform team to lead a team of engineers in building highly available and scalable data infrastructure.
- •You will be instrumental in analyzing blockchain transaction activity at petabyte scale to build a safer financial system.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of engineers, guiding technical and cultural growth.
- •Ensure quality and timely delivery of team's work, overseeing critical services.
- •Drive projects with well-defined goals and measurable outcomes.
- •Foster best practices in design, scalability, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- •Collaborate with management and product teams to plan and prioritize roadmap objectives.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience in distributed system architecture.
- •Proficiency in Python and SQL/SparkSQL.
- •Experience with data stores (ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, Postgres, Redis, Neo4j), pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt), processing technologies (Spark, Kafka, Flink), and cloud deployment (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Datadog).
