About the role
TL;DR
Manage national security policy engagements with government and administration.
- •Scale is seeking a National Security Policy Senior Manager to support its engagements with the National Security apparatus, Congress, and the Administration.
- •The successful candidate will help translate business objectives into effective policy engagement.
- •Key Responsibilities Support AI policy engagement with the National Security apparatus.
- •Work with the Public Sector Business Unit to shape and support programs at DoD and Intelligence Agencies.
- •Contribute to the formation and execution of Scale's policy strategy and priorities.
- •Prepare briefing materials, memos, and talking points for senior leader engagements.
- •Draft analysis on policy announcements and legislative changes.
- •Requirements 5-8 years experience in defense policy, government, defense tech, or the defense industry.
- •Experience contributing to consensus-building at trade associations or similar venues.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- •Previous technical experience such as research/peer-reviewed publication, covering technology policy, or experience in the technology sector.
- •Track record of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
