About the role
TL;DR
Process complex loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the origination lifecycle.
- •As a Senior Loan Processor, you will guide complex loan applications through the origination lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- •You will handle high-priority files and collaborate with internal teams to keep the process moving efficiently.
- •Key Responsibilities Review and verify applicant bank statements for authenticity, accuracy, and cash flow trends.
- •Own and resolve the most complex or highest-priority loan files independently.
- •Drive follow-up communication with applicants and internal stakeholders to close documentation gaps.
- •Ensure all files meet Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) standards.
- •Partner with underwriters and cross-functional teams to maintain pipeline momentum.
- •Requirements 2+ years of experience in loan processing, loan operations, or a related financial services role.
- •Comfort reading and interpreting bank statements or financial documents.
- •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- •Ability to independently triage and resolve issues.
- •Working knowledge of KYC/CIP requirements or similar regulatory compliance frameworks.
