Lead and grow avionics engineering teams for V-BAT platform reliability.
- •Shield AI is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to direct multiple teams responsible for the technical health and reliability of V-BAT avionics systems.
- •This role operates at the intersection of design, manufacturing, quality, and fleet support.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and grow multidisciplinary teams of electrical design engineers, root cause analysis engineers, and avionics build/test technicians.
- •Set team priorities, allocate resources, and drive execution while fostering technical excellence.
- •Actively contribute to design development, root cause analysis, and corrective action definition.
- •Own failure investigations end-to-end, establishing and verifying corrective actions.
- •Improve system reliability through coordination with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Fleet Support.
- •Requirements B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field. 10+ years of experience, including demonstrated success leading and growing electrical engineering teams.
- •Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing technical teams.
- •Experience working cross-functionally across design, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and fleet/field support.
- •Proven ability to plan and execute complex electronic and electrical designs in a high-consequence industry.
