About the role
TL;DR
Manage strategic finance, analysis, reporting, and project controlling for a robotics company.
- •RobCo is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to be the analytical core of the finance team, reporting directly to the CFO.
- •This role will own central analysis, reporting, and project controlling across various business models to support rapid growth.
- •Key Responsibilities Drive COGS and gross margin analyses across business models and maintain fleet depreciation models.
- •Establish robust project controlling, implementing full-cost calculations and contribution margin accounting.
- •Ensure accurate valuation of work-in-progress (WIP) and inventory.
- •Collaborate with Technical Program Managers to track project progress and costs.
- •Prepare quarterly Board reporting materials and advance financial models.
- •Requirements Completed vocational training or degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or comparable experience.
- •Several years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Controlling.
- •Deep technical expertise in full-cost accounting, project controlling, WIP valuation, and advanced Excel modeling.
- •Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP).
- •Fluent German (C1+) and very good English skills.
