Analyze demand signals, build statistical forecasts, and drive ML-enabled forecasting for Oura.
- •We are seeking a Forecast Analyst
- •Demand Planning to help strengthen Ōura’s forecasting capabilities through better analytics, improved data integration, and more scalable demand methodologies.
- •In this senior individual contributor role, you will act as the analytical engine behind demand planning.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop, improve, and operationalize forecasting methodologies that increase accuracy, responsiveness, and scalability.
- •Build and refine statistical baseline forecasts using historical demand, seasonality, promotions, and other key business drivers.
- •Help drive Ōura’s evolution toward machine learning-enabled forecasting.
- •Partner with Data and Systems teams to improve the structure, reliability, and integration of demand planning inputs.
- •Build scenario models, dashboards, and analytical tools that help the business understand demand risk and operational implications.
- •Requirements 6+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, analytics, data science, or a closely related field.
- •Strong experience building and applying statistical forecasting methods in a business environment.
- •Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python, R, or a similar analytical programming language.
- •Demonstrated ability to work with large, messy data sets and improve data quality.
- •Strong understanding of planning and operational processes, ideally in consumer products, hardware, retail, or supply chain environments.
