Manage and scale Discord's Security GRC function, focusing on compliance and risk management.
- •Discord's Legal team is seeking a Security Analyst to manage and scale its Security GRC function.
- •You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, including questionnaires, risk tracking, analyses, tooling, and documentation.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage the customer security questionnaire program end-to-end.
- •Operate risk and control workflows, including triage, tracking, and risk register upkeep.
- •Conduct GRC analyses to align standards, procedures, and controls with policies.
- •Build and maintain the GRC toolchain and its automation.
- •Create documentation for program usability, including internal guidance and company-wide communications.
- •Requirements 4+ years in security compliance, GRC, or a related field.
- •Familiarity with common frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR/CPRA.
- •Hands-on experience with compliance processes such as evidence collection and control tracking.
- •An automation-first mindset with experience in tooling and repeatable workflows.
- •Comfort working across various tools (GRC platforms, ticketing, knowledge bases) and maintaining organized data.
- •Clear writing skills with the ability to translate dense requirements into usable guidance.
- •Ability to collaborate across teams and influence without authority in a fast-paced environment.
