Build and improve mobile applications, own technical design, and mentor engineers.
- •As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Life.Church, you will play a key role in building and improving the systems behind the YouVersion Family of Apps.
- •You will contribute directly to development, own technical design for projects, and help guide your team toward strong, consistent engineering practices.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain software.
- •Own technical design for projects and clearly communicate tradeoffs.
- •Review, test, and approve code to ensure quality and consistency.
- •Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- •Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across systems.
- •Requirements Strong software engineering experience with the ability to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
- •Comfort owning technical decisions and working through tradeoffs.
- •Ability to support and guide other engineers without formal authority.
- •Clear communication, especially when explaining complex concepts.
- •Mobile development experience with Flutter/Dart, iOS/Swift, or Android.
