- •Datadog's Technical Solutions organization is seeking a Systems Engineer to own and evolve the enterprise platforms that power their 1,200+ sales engineers, support engineers, and solution architects.
- •This role involves managing the full lifecycle of critical systems like Zendesk, Jira, and Confluence, and developing custom solutions and integrations.
- •Key Responsibilities Own enterprise systems end-to-end, from assessment to implementation and iteration.
- •Engineer solutions, integrations, and automations to enhance the effectiveness of technical experts.
- •Contribute to the Datadog codebase for TS-specific features in partnership with Engineering teams.
- •Leverage AI coding tools and build AI-powered features to improve workflows and solutions.
- •Solve business problems by partnering with TS leaders to engineer practical fixes.
- •Requirements 3-5 years of experience with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira) and production software.
- •Proficiency in Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to work across the stack.
- •Demonstrated fluency with AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) and experience building AI-powered features.
- •Strong systems thinking for designing reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
