- •Datadog is seeking a Senior Staff Visual Product Designer to define and implement a new visual direction for their platform, focusing on clarity, cohesion, and expressiveness in complex, data-dense experiences.
- •Key Responsibilities Co-develop Datadog’s next visual direction by applying and stress-testing it across product journeys.
- •Translate visual principles into concrete decisions about hierarchy, layout, navigation, and interaction.
- •Use visual language to clarify complex, data-dense experiences.
- •Hold the visual quality bar and align teams around it.
- •Partner with Product Design, Design Systems, and Engineering to turn concepts into durable system guidance.
- •Requirements 12+ years of experience in product and/or visual design.
- •Strong visual judgment combined with deep product and systems thinking.
- •Experience translating visual concepts into scalable product patterns.
- •Comfortable operating in ambiguity and large, complex organizations.
- •Portfolio demonstrating shipped product surfaces with exceptional visual quality.
