- •Databricks is seeking a Lakebase Associate Director to help financial services customers modernize their operational data foundation with Databricks Lakebase, our fully-managed Postgres offering for intelligent applications.
- •This high-impact role sits within the Lakebase Go-To-Market team and partners closely with Industry Account Executives to drive adoption of Lakebase.
- •Key Responsibilities Drive new Lakebase revenue by identifying, qualifying, and driving Lakebase activations and consumption within a defined territory.
- •Lead with outcomes for key Lakebase personas, articulating how Lakebase helps them ship features faster and simplify operational data architectures.
- •Run complex, multi-threaded sales cycles from discovery through commercial negotiation and close.
- •Orchestrate proof-of-value and POCs that validate Lakebase’s benefits for OLTP-style workloads and AI/ML-driven applications.
- •Enable the field by sharing Lakebase best practices and success stories with broader sales teams.
- •Requirements 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, consistently exceeding quota.
- •Proven success selling data platforms, operational databases, or adjacent data/AI infrastructure.
- •Strong understanding of modern data and application architectures.
- •Ability to sell to both technical and business stakeholders.
- •Executive presence with the ability to lead C-level conversations.
