About the role
TL;DR
Produce high-quality documentation for enterprise software products.
- •We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products.
- •Key Responsibilities Document Creation: Create and maintain documentation for our products, including user guides, product manuals, API documentation, knowledge base articles, release notes, and other relevant technical materials.
- •Product Understanding: Collaborate with product managers, software developers, sales engineers, and customer success managers to gain a deep understanding of the SaaS product's functionality, features, and user workflows.
- •API Documentation: Create comprehensive and accurate API documentation forto assist developers and integrators in using Nightfall’s developer platform APIs effectively.
- •Usability Testing: Collaborate with UX/UI designers and conduct usability testing of documentation to ensure it is clear, actionable, and easily understood by users.
- •Compliance and Security: Understand and adhere to security and compliance standards relevant to our product.
- •Deep knowledge of documentation standards such as DITA, content management processes, creating and maintaining style guides is a must.
- •Content Management Systems: Utilize content management systems (CMS) or other tools to create, manage, and publish documentation.
- •Requirements 3+ years’ experience in technical writing for enterprise software products.
- •Experience managing customer-facing documentation portals/platforms Experience developing product help documentation, creating developer implementation and integration guides Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable Experience maintaining content repository, optimizing content development to maximize reuse and minimize maintenance/duplication Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
