About the role
TL;DR
Develop and optimize 3D reconstruction algorithms for physical AI.
- •Join Niantic Spatial to build the future of physical AI and develop high-fidelity 3D representations of the world.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Computer Vision systems.
- •Refine and scale algorithms for 3D Reconstruction.
- •Optimize complex Computer Vision code for maximum efficiency.
- •Create and own tools for evaluating 3D Reconstructions.
- •Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- •Collaborate with Product, Research, and Operations teams.
- •Requirements BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Vision, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in image processing, Computer Vision, or 3D Reconstruction.
- •Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or C++.
- •Proven track record in designing solutions for Computer Vision or 3D Reconstruction.
- •Required in-office days: 3 days per week
