About the role
TL;DR
Build the data foundation and drive growth as a Founding Data Analyst.
- •We're hiring a Founding Data Analyst to join our FinOps team and build the data foundation that powers Counsel's growth.
- •This is an early-stage, high-impact founding role spanning data wrangling and pipeline development, defining and tracking core operating metrics, and improving reporting and operational workflows across the business.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain the data foundation that will power the entire company.
- •Support the data needs of stakeholders across every function at the company.
- •Build the Operating Scorecard and management dashboards.
- •Partner with Analytics Engineer to validate pipelines and metric definitions.
- •Turn messy datasets into answers people can act on.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (CS, statistics, applied math, or similar), with meaningful programming experience 3-5 years in a data, analytics, or finance/ops role Strong SQL, and Python or a similar language Comfort with data that's messy and real.
- •Executive presence to represent senior leaders in cross functional discussions
