About the role
TL;DR
Manage UK corporation tax compliance and support tax governance within a global team.
- •As a UK Corporate Tax Associate, you will manage the day-to-day UK corporation tax compliance cycle and support the group's tax governance framework within a Global Tax Team.
- •You will partner with Finance, Legal, and the business to deliver accurate filings and practical advice.
- •Key Responsibilities Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations and returns (CT600), managing the compliance calendar and deadlines.
- •Support the tax accounting cycle, including current and deferred tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- •Identify tax risks and opportunities, such as capital allowances, R&D tax credits, and group relief.
- •Support tax governance and risk procedures, including SAO, CCO, and the HMRC relationship.
- •Provide day-to-day advisory on UK tax matters, including withholding taxes and transfer pricing inputs.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- •Minimum 3 years of experience in UK corporate tax, in practice or in-house.
- •Sound working knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation.
- •Strong Excel skills.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- •Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
