- •Beamery is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to enhance its newly built data platform, a key initiative supporting the company's ambition for best-in-class self-service reporting and AI strategy.
- •This role will involve deriving actionable data for stakeholders and customers, empowering product teams to generate insights that drive business success.
- •Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and evolve a world-class data platform using state-of-the-art technologies.
- •Lead the development of the analytics and semantic layer, building robust data models and transformations.
- •Drive self-service data empowerment by developing high-quality data products and implementing monitoring systems.
- •Mentor and guide a team of data and software engineers, setting best practices for coding and data modeling.
- •Collaborate cross-functionally to understand data needs and translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
- •Requirements Significant experience in building and maintaining data platforms based around dbt.
- •Proven track record of designing robust data architectures, including data warehousing and data lake implementations.
- •Experience in mentoring and guiding engineering teams and fostering best practices.
- •Deep understanding of data architecture, schema design, and building scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant data-intensive applications.
- •Comfortable operating in production, diagnosing issues, and making sound judgment calls about remediation.
