About the role
TL;DR
Manage FP&A processes, build financial models, and champion AI adoption.
- •Backcountry is seeking a finance leader to manage the planning, forecasting, and analytical processes that drive business decisions.
- •This role will oversee annual budgeting and forecasting, build financial models for strategic investments, and promote an AI-first approach within the finance team.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads.
- •Own monthly reporting packages, variance analysis, and executive dashboards.
- •Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends and opportunities.
- •Develop and maintain financial models for scenario analysis and investment decisions.
- •Champion an AI-first approach to FP&A by identifying and implementing AI solutions.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field. 5+ years of FP&A experience in retail or ecommerce.
- •Previous people management experience.
- •Hands-on experience with AI and workflow automation tools in finance.
- •Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial planning software.
