About the role
TL;DR
Senior Counsel, Commercial to support enterprise cloud sales transactions in the U.S. West region.
- •CoreWeave's Legal and Government Affairs (LGA) team partners closely with company-wide teams to navigate complex legal landscapes while enabling innovation and growth.
- •As Senior Counsel, Commercial, you will support the rapidly growing Global Field Organization (GFO) business in its U.S.
- •Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial technology agreements with enterprise customers.
- •Partner closely with CoreWeave's GFO U.S.
- •West Region teams to support enterprise sales cycles.
- •Serve as the trusted legal advisor and partner to the GFO U.S.
- •West Region sales leadership team.
- •Advise internal stakeholders on legal, privacy, and commercial risks arising from customer transactions.
- •Help develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, policies, and processes.
- •Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar. 8+ years experience gained from a law firm, and/or with in-house experience gained within a fast-paced technology company.
- •Substantial commercial and complex technology contracting experience: Cloud, AI, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS.
- •Strong drafting and negotiation skills, sound commercial judgment, and clear written and verbal communication.
- •Comfortable operating at a fast pace with a high degree of independence across U.S. time zones.
