About the role
TL;DR
Lead operational backbone of Conversion, manage finances, handle legal and administrative operations.
- •As the first BizOps hire, you'll own the operational backbone of Conversion.
- •You'll work directly with the founders and touch nearly every part of the business.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage company finances, including understanding runway, tracking spend, and making the company more cost-efficient Handle legal and administrative operations: vendor contracts, office agreements, procurement paperwork, and new hire documentation Jump in on special projects that span marketing and sales that don't fit neatly into a job description, but are essential to how we scale Requirements Have 2-5 years of experience in business operations, finance, or chief of staff Worked at a high-growth startup Are energized by building from scratch: you'd rather create a process than inherit one Are a structured thinker who can break down ambiguous challenges, find practical solutions, and drive execution without waiting for direction Communicate clearly across very different stakeholders, from candidates to vendors to investors, and pride yourself on quickly earning trust Have strong analytical instincts and are comfortable working with financial data
