TL;DR
Own the technical architecture for IT automations, driving design decisions and leading complex projects.
- •As a Senior IT Support Engineer on the IT Tooling team within IT Support & Services (ITSS), you'll own the technical architecture behind the automations that power IT operations at Coinbase.
- •This team builds the self-service workflows, bots, and integrations that employees interact with daily.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the technical architecture of IT Tooling automations, driving design decisions on system structure, integration patterns, and platform standards.
- •Lead complex automation projects end-to-end as technical DRI.
- •Partner with Security, Corporate Engineering, and IAM teams to resolve technical blockers.
- •Build shared frameworks, reusable components, and architecture documentation.
- •Establish code review practices and engineering standards.
- •Requirements 5+ years in IT engineering, automation, or systems engineering.
- •Deep expertise building and maintaining complex automations with n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Jira Automation, or Workato.
- •Working knowledge of Okta, Slack API, and Google Workspace administration.
- •Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
- •Experience mentoring peers and writing technical design documentation.
