About the role
TL;DR
Build and maintain test systems for Starlink Aviation products.
- •As a Starlink Aviation Test Technician, you will be responsible for building the test systems and infrastructure used to test and produce Starlink Aviation products.
- •You will work closely with Starlink Aviation design and certification engineers, as well as FAA and other Enterprise partners.
- •Key Responsibilities Build high-quality wire harnesses, PCBAs, test racks, robotics, and environmental simulation equipment.
- •Support production and qualification by troubleshooting hardware and software, updating documentation, training line technicians, and performing schedule maintenance.
- •Manage workload in order to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and respond to critical requests.
- •Interpret a variety of sources ranging from controlled, released documentation to informal sketches.
- •Identify design gaps; ask directed questions, and apply skill and experience to resolve them, and update documentation to prevent recurrence.
- •Requirements High school diploma or equivalency certificate. 1+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly.
- •Associate degree (preferred). 3+ years of experience with hardware testing (preferred).
- •Hands-on experience fabricating and debugging harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, and test stations (preferred).
