About the role
TL;DR
Analyze and optimize ad monetization strategies, focusing on segmentation and price floor governance.
- •Character is building one of the most engaged consumer AI products in the world, and we’re scaling the advertising business that helps fund it.
- •We’re bringing on a Yield & Monetization Analyst on a contract basis to strengthen the analytical and operational layer on top of it.
- •Key Responsibilities Define and refine audience and inventory segments, translating them into actionable targeting and pricing strategy.
- •Own a weekly price-floor governance cadence, reviewing and adjusting Unified Pricing Rules.
- •Align ad strategy with broader company monetization initiatives, balancing ad revenue with LTV and user experience.
- •Build and maintain dashboards tying segment performance, floor movements, and demand-source behavior to revenue.
- •Requirements 4+ years in yield management, ad operations, revenue/monetization analytics, or publisher monetization.
- •Demonstrated experience with audience/inventory segmentation and cohort analysis.
- •Hands-on Google Ad Manager fluency, especially Unified Pricing Rules and floor management.
- •Understanding of hybrid monetization models and how ad-supported and paid models interact.
