- •Antimetal is seeking a Research Engineer to develop intelligent systems for infrastructure management.
- •You will prototype new approaches, conduct experiments, and transition research into production, collaborating with platform and product teams to enhance agent capabilities and evaluation methodologies.
- •Key Responsibilities Experiment, evaluate, iterate, and ship new approaches across research areas.
- •Build evaluation infrastructure and tooling for live and offline pipelines.
- •Explore and develop AI, ML, and SRE research techniques for infrastructure intelligence and autonomous agents.
- •Collaborate with platform and product teams to integrate and productionize prototypes.
- •Requirements 4+ years of experience in applied ML or research engineering, shipping production AI systems.
- •Production experience with agentic/LLM systems, including multi-step reasoning and reinforcement learning.
- •Proven ability to take work from prototype to production using data and experimentation.
- •Strong ML fundamentals in statistical modeling, probabilistic methods, time-series analysis, and evaluation methodology.
- •Proficiency in Python and Typescript, with experience in ML libraries and data engineering tools.
