- •Category Labs is seeking a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to manage the infrastructure for Monad, a high-performance, EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain.
- •This role involves leveraging AI to drive infrastructure operations and ensuring the health and safety of a globally-distributed fleet.
- •Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain the Monad node fleet across mainnet and testnet.
- •Own and advance infrastructure-as-code practices using Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps.
- •Build and operate observability and alerting systems.
- •Automate release pipelines and design agentic operations with AI.
- •Codify operational knowledge into reusable tools and automation.
- •Requirements 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- •Strong Linux, systemd, networking, and shell fundamentals.
- •Deep infrastructure-as-code experience with Ansible and Terraform.
- •Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
- •Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted engineering and coding agents.
