About the role
TL;DR
Manages remote operations for autonomous agricultural systems.
- •Carbon Robotics is deploying autonomy in real world agricultural environments.
- •As autonomy scales, so does the need for a high-performance operational backbone to monitor, intervene and continuously improve these systems in the field.
- •Key Responsibilities Scale Remote Operations Centers to support global, autonomous fleet growth without operational bottlenecks.
- •Design and refine human-in-the-loop workflows, establishing intervention thresholds and decision frameworks.
- •Own international hiring, onboarding, and training for remote fleet operators.
- •Establish and track core operational KPIs like intervention rates, response times, and operator utilization.
- •Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Field Ops teams.
- •Author standard operating procedures for monitoring, intervention, and escalation.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience in operations, ideally in robotics, autonomy, logistics, or high-scale real-time systems.
- •Experience building and scaling operational teams in complex environments.
- •Strong systems thinker—you design processes, not just manage them.
- •Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from zero to one.
