- •Canonical is seeking a Group Financial Controller with a passion for systems accounting and preparing finance functions for public markets.
- •This role leverages technology and AI to build efficient accounting workflows and ensure financial integrity.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of controls to mitigate risks associated with processes and systems.
- •Drive the implementation and monitoring of Canonical's policies and procedures to enable efficient business scaling.
- •Manage month-end, year-end closes, and statutory accounts preparation for timely and accurate financial reporting.
- •Oversee external audits and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks.
- •Requirements Professionally qualified accounting leader with high integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- •Extensive practical IFRS knowledge and experience.
- •Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
- •Proven experience using enterprise-level accounting or ERP systems.
- •Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
