About the role
TL;DR
Develop and evolve JavaScript/TypeScript SDKs for the Supabase platform.
- •Supabase is seeking a talented SDK Engineer to own the development and evolution of their JavaScript and TypeScript SDKs, which serve as the primary interface for millions of developers interacting with the Supabase platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and evolve JavaScript/TypeScript SDKs.
- •Identify and build missing features for the SDKs.
- •Manage public repositories, triage issues, and shepherd external contributions.
- •Ensure accurate type generation and flow through client APIs.
- •Maintain SDK compatibility across various runtimes (Node, Deno, Bun, browsers, etc.).
- •Requirements Expert-level TypeScript skills, including generics and conditional types.
- •Experience authoring and maintaining published libraries with public APIs.
- •Familiarity with open-source project maintenance, including issue triage and PR review.
- •Proficiency in npm packaging, including dual ESM/CJS builds and type resolution.
- •Habit of comprehensive testing (unit, type-level, end-to-end).
