About the role
TL;DR
Develops and deploys perception and sensor-fusion systems for defense applications.
- •Aurelius Systems is seeking a skilled Perception Engineer to develop, train, and deploy vision and sensor-based models for their directed energy systems.
- •This role involves end-to-end perception and sensor-fusion stack development.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, train, and validate ML/DL models for object detection, classification, and segmentation.
- •Integrate and fuse data from multi-modal sensors for real-time detection and tracking.
- •Research and implement image-processing techniques for low SNR and motion isolation.
- •Collaborate with hardware teams and develop embedded firmware.
- •Build scalable data pipelines and optimize inference for edge deployment.
- •Requirements 2-6+ years in computer vision, sensor fusion, or robotics perception.
- •Strong C++ with deep ML engineering experience.
- •Hands-on with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and real-time inference engines (TensorRT, OpenVINO).
- •Experience with computer vision, tracking, and detection in real-time conditions.
- •Familiarity with ROS2, Docker, and CI/CD for ML pipelines.
